SAMBAFIT 10 class pack
SambaFIT is a dance and functional fitness class specifically designed for Samba dancers. We will strengthen & tone areas that are mostly used in Samba as well as increase overall cardio fitness.
Be aware...this is NOT a ZUMBA class. You will use dance movements from different genres of Brazilian dance, mostly Samba no pe, as well as functional movements such as squats, push ups, mountain climbers & planks.
Bring a mat and be prepare to sweat!
This class is open to non-samba dancers as well and substitute movements will be suggested for those that do not know samba no pe.
Your 10 class pack will expire within 10 weeks of it's activation.
SambaFIT will not run through the holidays.
NOTE** The first SambaFIT class for Term 1 will start Saturday 11th February with the 10th class being made up in the second week of the holidays (Saturday 22nd April).
$15 casual class
$100 for Samba students currently enrolled in a Samba course (see Reception for payment)
Queenz Prep Course
Time to step up your game..
This is an advanced course which will teach you the tricks of the trade to being a member of the Subsdance Queenz.
The course components are:
Saturday 25th – Intro to the Art of Performance – stage presence (walking, setting up in position, facials, playing with the audience)
Saturday 4th March – Learn a Complex Choreography
Saturday 11th March – Combine Performance values with Choreography plus Formations
Saturday 18th March – Queen tricks
Saturday 25th March – Floor moves & Flexibility/Recovery Stretching
Saturday 1st April - The Art of Freestyle
